Interesting events and festivals of non-traditional cultures often take place near Shipit waterfall. Hippies have been holding their annual meetings in these places since 1992. Back in 1970, local beauties were liked as a summer camp of hippies of the USSR. They say that a similar tradition came to us from Latvia. There, local informals used to gather on the river Gauja. Some of them, with the collapse of the USSR, began to gather near the Shipit waterfall. A lot has changed since those times, but the place near the waterfall is still as popular and annually gathers a lot of people from different cultural and social strata. Meetings of informals in the valley of the Shipit waterfall are held every summer. In the first days of July, more than 1,500 people come here. Many of them are tourists from Poland, Russia and Belarus. By the way, many people talk about the similarity of the Ukrainian Shipot with the Russian Veselka. The most interesting time at the Shipota festival is the day of Ivan Kupala – a holiday that takes place on the night of July 6-7. On these days, there is a maximum number of vacationers who take part in a fun celebration. Shipot waterfall is best visited on the days of the celebration, joining the festival participants and immersing yourself in the atmosphere of fun and joy.

Lake Synevyr (another name is Morske Oko) is the largest and most beautiful lake of the Ukrainian Carpathians, which is spread between the mountains, among the spruce forest at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level.
