Strukivska Church (Church of the Ascension of the Lord)
Our tour guide will tell you an interesting legend about the foundation of the Strukiv church and the town of Yasinya itself, where the church is located. As for the value of this Christian temple, it is undoubtedly the pinnacle of craftsmanship and perfection in Hutsul traditions of wooden construction. The church, by the way, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Trufanetsky waterfall
The Trufanets mountain stream carries its waters to the Black Tysa from the slopes of the Svedivetsky ridge. And so, in one rocky city, the stream decided to shorten its path and plunged from a 36-meter height down to the river. This is how a waterfall was formed, named in honor of this brave stream – Trufanetsky. This is an incredibly beautiful sight – cascading streams of water in the midst of pristine Carpathian nature! Trufanets waterfall – the highest in Transcarpathia, and at the same time the most accessible – is located right next to the highway. Enjoy!
Rakhiv
Did you know that Rakhiv is the highest city in Ukraine? And the height difference in the city itself reaches 500 meters!? And also, the Center of Europe is located in Rakhiv! And also, Zakarpattia Hutsulshchyna, including Rakhivshchyna, is the westernmost region of Ukraine! And it’s a land of incredible beauty! But the greatest value of Zakarpattia Hutsulshchyna is its people! Today, few people can know their roots like this, and appreciate and know and preserve national traditions like this!
Kvasy
The picturesque mountain village, over which the highest Carpathian peaks, including the two-thousander Petros, seem to be leaning, is known not only for its beauty. There are springs with healing water, there are more than 80 of them here. And local residents call the number 200, they say you need to know the place! Healing mineral waters and clean mountain air are a real treasure of this region. It is not for nothing that in Soviet times, pilot-cosmonauts were rehabilitated in Kvasy after flights into space.
Tasting of 5 types of Tsypa craft beer (110 UAH/person)
› Return to Yasinya, dinner. In the evening, tourists spend their free time. On request – billiards and sauna.
3 DAYBreakfast, collection, hike to the Carpathians
Hiking in the Carpathians – Dragobrat.
For those interested, an excursion program is organized to the Svydovetsky Range: the Dragobrat tract.
Visiting high mountain lakes, walking in the mountains.
There are coniferous forests around Dragobrat, higher is the alpine zone, the beginning of a mountain massif, the peak of which is Mount Stig (1707 m). Nearby are the Zhandarm and Blyznytsia mountains (1,883 m), from which the highest point of the Ukrainian Carpathians can be seen – Mount Hoverla (2,061 m). We climb Dragobrat on high-terrain vehicles: UAZ, GAZ-66 (unforgettable impressions, photo stops on the way).
See the hidden beauties of Svidovets and travel along the ridge itself. And there are many secrets here! One of them is the high mountain lake Gerashaska. It has a glacial origin and feeds on snowdrops. The water is incredibly clear and very cold.
The very name of another lake – Vorozheska, hidden at an altitude of 1,460 meters, exudes mysticism. When you look at it from the mountain, you can see not one, but two reservoirs – the larger plane has a round shape, and the smaller one has the shape of a crescent – the Sun and the Moon… Perhaps that is why there are many legends about this lake.
