Technical information:

1. The length of the route of the Borzhava valley (from the top of the cable car to the village of Volovets) is 15 km;
2. Approximate duration of the hike along the Borzhava meadows (from the top of the cable car to the village of Volovets) – 5-6 hours;
3. Elevation difference during the ascent 450 meters, elevation difference during the descent – 1100 meters;
4. The route is designed for the average group of physically healthy people;
5. The excursion around Borzhava is of medium difficulty and does not require prior preparation or experience, but for those who doubt their own abilities, we advise you to start with easy routes (for example, climbing Mount Kamula, Makovka, Putishche, Lviv mountains)
6. During the ascent and descent, it is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol.

What to take with you on a hiking trip to Borzhava:

– a document proving your identity (passport);
– comfortable waterproof shoes (preferably mountain trekking boots with high lacing and vibram type protector);
– a windproof jacket with a hood, preferably waterproof, windproof pants, such that they do not impede movement, a warm sweater or a jacket like a polar, a headdress (hat, bandana), a raincoat;
– a spare set of clothes (you can leave it on the bus);
– backpack;
– water (1-1.5 liters per person);
– food for snacks during the ascent (sandwiches, chocolate, thermos with hot tea or coffee);
– the necessary medicines (individual first-aid kit) that you use, adhesive plaster.
