Old Town in Warsaw

When you visit Warsaw, the first place on your list will definitely be the Old Town. At its heart is the majestic Royal Castle. Even if you wander for a long time through the picturesque streets of antiquity (which, by the way, is quite small), you will inevitably find yourself in front of this historical building.

The center of the castle is now decorated with a museum. Even though we didn’t go in to see the exhibits, we had a lot of fun wandering between its ancient walls. In the evenings, under the light yellow lanterns, it really amazes the imagination.

The Old Town in Warsaw is a very beautiful and cozy corner. An hour of quiet walking is enough to feel its atmosphere. And, of course, don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee in one of the many cafes. And for those with a sweet tooth, there is a wonderful chocolate confectionery right in the center of the old town – you will definitely love it!

If you follow a certain direction, you are unlikely to end up on the Vistula River embankment. Here, on summer evenings, singing fountains come to life. We were able to witness the annual laser show. This time the theme was a Cinderella story with fire and fog effects. Although the show itself didn’t wow us, the amazing play of water in the fountains is worth a look.
